Overall, I think you can wear something better than jeans to an interview no matter how modern or stylish your workplace is. Try pairing a neutral pair of suit pants with a light blazer (in any color and fabric), an all monochromatic dress, or if you don’t necessarily want to wear a formal trouser suit, consider pairing a blazer and skirt over a dress. Also, when buying a sports top, the fit depends on your preference! If you prefer a fitted blazer, then buy your true size. However, if you want the cool-girl oversized look, I recommend going 1-2 sizes bigger! You can always wear a blazer with shorts, and an oversized blazer will usually go with your best denim shorts.
