One of my favorite winter and holiday looks is an all-black ensemble that is both chic and effortless. When you need to get away from some of the glamorous holiday looks but don’t know where to start, Nordstrom has you covered for all of your holiday occasions.
When wearing monochromatic outfits, I always try to mix different textures and elements to avoid looking monotonous. There are so many gorgeous textures that work perfectly together during the fall and winter months. Take a beautiful velvet blazer and leather pants for example. It’s more sophisticated than your everyday jeans and blazer, but still relaxed and cool. I added these embellished heels and a sparkly bag for extra holiday fun.
To me, this look is perfect for the holidays and it’s not over the top at all. There are a million ways to style a black velvet blazer for winter, but this look definitely works for me. Throw on your favorite red lip and some of your best silver jewelry and this look is holiday fashion personified!
