Today I want to highlight one of my personal favourite pieces from my first MAYSON label.
This design is special to me because I knew I wanted to wear a black leather mid-length skirt in my first collection and that’s exactly what I envisioned. A little black piece that every wardrobe needs for the autumn/winter season, this corseted mid-length skirt has a feminine but edgy silhouette. The prominent volume of the sleeves accentuates the shape of the waistline, while the mid-length hem elongates the legs, making it a flattering and striking black leather-sleeved dress.
As for pairing black leather dresses, this particular dress is perfect for pairing with boots later in the season, and can now be paired with heels. In fact, I wore it to the MAYSON dinner in Dallas last weekend and felt both chic and comfortable. For the dinner, I actually swapped out this belt (similar here) to give it a little different look! I also love that the hidden seam pockets add a bit of practicality, and the silky stretchy lining keeps you comfortable whether you’re sitting or standing.
I know I’m biased, but I absolutely love this dress and hope you add it to your wardrobe for a sophisticated, chic upgrade!
